PLEASE NOTE: Live surgery is always subject
to the proviso that the operating theatres are not required
for emergency surgery. For this reason unlike a lecture the
activity cannot be guaranteed. Secondly, as the majority of
those presenting are also working doctors the presence of
an individual cannot be assumed, but we will always strive
for a suitable replacement. Finally, MedUSA reserves the right
to make any changes to the event if circumstances dictate.
PERSONAL PROPERTY
Delegates should be aware that they are responsible for their
personal property and should arrange their own insurance for
items of value. Items of value should be kept secure about
you at all times.
MEDUSA CONFERENCE
MedUSA should not be viewed as a standard College outing or
trip. Whilst all steps have been taken to comply with health
and safety standards and in most instances to go beyond what
is required, Medusa is only suitable for mature young people
with a proven sense of responsibility. Further whilst MedUSA
is an extremely valuable course, it should be understood that
MedUSA is not necessary for an application to medical school.
Neither is it the case that MedUSA or affiliated conferences
seek to provide either a medical or first-aid education. It
must also be understood that MedUSA is non-aligned to any
individual, group or institution, and that the presence of
any Individual, group or institution at either MedUSA directly
or indirectly via our web-site or advertising material, should
not be taken as an endorsement by MedUSA. Neither is it the
case that any endorsement of MedUSA is being made by any individual,
group or institution that appears at MedUSA or is to be found
on the MedUSA web-site or in any advertising media. The mention
of any individual, group or institution is done only to inform
of either their intended presence at the conference or their
previous attendance at a MedUSA Conference.
